The Beesting Balance

Beesting Digital is our agency and forms the business side of Beesting.
Beesting Charity is our charity arm which is funded by Beesting Digital.

We call this The Beesting Balance.  The bigger we become, the more we’re able to help.

Beesting Charity provides the following, absolutely free, to UK charities, CICs, and social enterprises:

  • Monthly marketing and sales webinars
  • 1:1 strategy calls to tackle marketing issues
  • E-books and step-by-step guides
  • Facebook group offering ad hoc advice
  • E-learning (coming soon)

In addition to this, here are just some of the charities we either run ourselves or work with on a regular basis:

Festive Friends

Founded by our Director, Heather Murray, Festive Friends is a charity project that has now been running for 5 years.

The event provides a completely free, 3-course, sit-down Christmas meal for 100 isolated older people in Bristol. Guests get treated to fine food in a beautifully decorated hall, accessible community transport, gifts and of course, plenty of mulled wine. Festive Friends works in partnership with the police, fire service, ambulance service, and the Lord Mayor, alongside several local and national charities to provide a really warm, festive, and memorable event for people that often don’t have any family or friends.

We’ve got grand plans for the future – aiming to bring the event to several other cities in the coming years – watch this space.

St Werburghs Community Centre

This bustling community hub in East Bristol provides a safe, non-judgemental space for families, community groups, businesses and classes to thrive together.  From corporate events to community weddings, this Centre is the heart of its area and provides important resources and facilities to a some of Bristol’s most deprived areas. This community centre holds a place close to our Director’s heart (as she worked there for 5 years).  We provide free marketing consultancy, we sit on the interview panel when recruiting marketing staff, and we also give them ad hoc marketing training and advice.

The Wheelchair Alliance

The Wheelchair Alliance is committed to the guidance and empowerment of those who use a wheelchair, their families and carers in the UK. We work hard to ensure the right voices are heard by the right people, and drive forward lasting positive change. We provide free copywriting services, marketing advice and LinkedIn training for The Wheelchair Alliance, along with guidance for their social media strategy.

SIC

The fantastic people at SIC provides access to training for people with impairments and chronic illnesses to get into and thrive in work, along with employer services, equipping businesses with the expertise to support them.  We work alongside them to create cracking content for their learning and resources hub, providing their audience with downloadable guides, templates and studies to help employers understand how to become more accessible, and to encourage people to feel more confident in returning to work.
